SYNOPSIS
Clasicas Desfeitas vol. 3 is a shared look around time and identity. It revolves around three main axes of inspiration, Virginia Woolf's Orlando, Albert Camus' Myth of Sisyphus and Igor Stravinsky's The Rite of Spring.
It is a disrespectful encounter, an irreverent game that questions the canon itself and the artistic fact itself, starting from a discourse centered on the body. Dance as the main language that supports an open dialogue with life cycles, the fluidity of identity and resistance processes.

SYNOPSIS
To appear without imitating, to appear without forgetting.
Carnival scene of life, weight of opinion and implacable judgment of aspects.
What woman were you?
What woman are you?
Appearance as a possibility of the future.
August 2020. We are in the center of Allariz, specifically at the crossroads between Calle de la Cruz and Calle Fonteiriña. Before us, a striking photograph dated 1925 and authored by Manuel Riesco. In it, a group of women, dressed in the outfit of two soccer teams: Arnoya de Allariz and Celanova, with a challenging and serious attitude, and belle époque-style updos, under the title "Women's soccer team in the old field of Vilanova”.
Apparently, we were before the first record of a pioneering futfem team, a black and white image, belonging to the Allariz Municipal Archive, where these 12 women appear dressed in soccer uniforms posing in formation.
The image seems to us of immense beauty and it is difficult for us to stop thinking about the story that must be behind it:
Who were these women?
What happened to them?
What happened in that match?
Are we before some pioneers?
Faced with these questions, we begin -with no return- an immersion in the curiosities of these feminized life journeys and still to be discovered.
